This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data through all Learned’s websites and/or web applications.
When you use our platform, you leave certain personal data with us.
Your privacy is very important to us.
When processing personal data, we therefore adhere to the AVG.
This means that we:

    • Clearly define our purposes before we process your personal data, through this privacy and cookie statement.
    • Store as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes.
    • Explicitly seek consent to the processing of your personal data, should consent be required.
    • Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data.
      We also impose these obligations on parties who process personal data for us.
    • Respect your rights, such as the right to access, correct or delete your personal data processed with us.

For what purposes do we use your personal data?
By using Learned we obtain various personal data from you.
In this privacy and cookie statement we would like to tell you what information we obtain from you, for what purpose we process it and how long it is stored.

Personal data

We collect personal data traceable to you when you:

    • request downloadable content, such as e-guide, video demos, videos, webinars and tools/documents
    • you register for one of our events
    • Contacting us (forms such as a contact form or quote request);

Of course, you are not required to leave this information, but you cannot perform the above actions without sharing this information with us.

We keep the personal data you leave with us in order to send you the content you expect from us.

 

Data not traceable to an individual

In addition to personal data, we also collect aggregated anonymized information about your website visit.
This cannot be traced back to you as an individual and helps us better understand how our company website is used.

 

Create Account

Through Learned, you can create an account (execution of the agreement).
You must then provide information about yourself.
With this we create your account.
For this we use the following personal data:

    • Name
    • Email address
    • Login information
    • Phone number (optional)

We do this so you don’t have to fill out this information over and over again.
We keep this information for up to one year after your employer stops using Learned.
You can always modify and/or delete the information sooner.

 

Manage Profile

Once you have created an account, you can manage your profile yourself and add information to your account (execution of the agreement).
The Processor Agreement specifies which Personal Data this is.

We retain this information for up to one year after your employer stops using Learned.
You can always modify and/or delete the information earlier.

 

Disclosure to other companies or institutions

We provide data to third parties only when necessary for the performance of our agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. The specific organizations with whom we share personal data are described in the processor agreement.

 

The cookies we use

A cookie is a simple small file sent with pages of our website (not web application) and stored by the browser on your computer’s hard drive.
The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers during your next visit.

    • Persistent cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the basic functionality of our website(s).
      They allow the platform to recognize you and set your preferences.
      Permanent cookies can be deleted via your browser settings.
    • Web Analytics cookies: These cookies (such as Google Analytics) are used to track behavior and allow us to analyze web activity to make improvements to the website(s).
    • Advertising Cookies: We use cookies to collect non-personal information about your activities on this and other websites to provide you with targeted advertisements based on your interests.

The security and storage of your data

Learned ensures appropriate security of the personal data it holds, in line with applicable legal requirements and guidelines.
In addition, Learned is ISO 27001 certified.

The retention period of personal data

If you choose to delete your company’s Learned account, your personal information is generally deleted within 24 hours.

 

Your rights

If you have any questions or want to know what personal data we hold about you, you can always contact us.

You have the following rights:

    • Right of access: you have the right to see the personal data we process about you.
    • Right to rectification: you have the right to correct or supplement the personal data we process about you if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
    • Right to withdraw your consent: you can easily withdraw your consent at any time.
    • Right to object: you can object to the processing of your personal data.
    • Right of deletion: you can request us to delete your personal data.
    • Right to data portability: if technically possible, you have the right to transfer the personal data we process about you to a third party.
    • Right to restrict processing: in some cases, you can request that we restrict (temporarily or otherwise) the processing of your personal data, which means that we process less of your data.

With your request, we may ask you to identify yourself.
We request information to ensure that you are the correct person to whom the personal data belongs.
We aim to respond to your request within 30 days.
However, this deadline may be extended for reasons related to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request.
If we extend this deadline, we will notify you in a timely manner.

Filing a complaint

If you feel that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint with the privacy regulator.
